A proposed footbridge is the first link in the creation of a walkable urban district. Spanning an existing canal the footbridge links the new plazas on either side. While the northern plaza lies within the domain of a planned shopping center, the southern plaza provides a public space with an array of potential activities.
Shaded seating complements the waterside plaza. Steps on either side of the footbridge lead to the water and recreation.
Flowering trees define the plaza and create a distinct place identity.
